The Concept
For this year’s Studio Ghibli Calendar, we drew inspiration from the quiet charm of the Okino residence. Kiki’s cozy, sun-dappled childhood home.
While the calendar itself isn’t tied to a single theme, elements of Kiki’s everyday magic subtly shaped the overall design - from the box packaging to a few of the items inside. Think embroidered linens, warm wooden tones, and the gentle glow of a window-lit morning - all evoking that feeling of quiet wonder and nostalgia we love most about Ghibli.
The details
Each item begins as a hand-drawn sketch - whether it’s a trinket shaped like a forest spirit or a charm inspired by a flying machine. Every detail is thoughtfully designed with deep respect for the films and a touch of imagination. We take great care to ensure each piece feels like a heartfelt homage to the world of Ghibli - not just in appearance, but in spirit.

Foil-Stamped Story Cards
New this year: every drawer now includes a foil-stamped card, printed on textured art paper. Each card reveals the film title, item name, and a short note on its purpose or meaning, turning every unboxing into a story moment.
So you always know what you’ve received and why it was chosen.
quality control
Stricter quality control: We've added a new multi-step checking system to help ensure nothing is missing or damaged in your box, so every surprise arrives just as it should.
UPgraded materials
Upgraded jewellery quality: All jewellery in the standard calendar is now made from stainless steel — it’s durable, hypoallergenic, and tarnish-resistant, so you can enjoy it long after the holidays.
You can also choose the Luxe upgrade at checkout, which includes jewellery made from 925 sterling silver — perfect for those who want timeless pieces with lasting value.
Shipping
This year, we’re offering free tracked shipping on all advent calendars. No extra steps, no surprises. The shipping cost is already included in the price you see. For customers in remote destinations (such as Alaska, Hawaii, and certain international areas), a small surcharge will be applied at checkout to cover the additional delivery costs.

Choose the Luxe version at checkout to upgrade all jewellery in your Ghibli Advent Calendar to real 925 silver, presented in a premium jewellery box. All pieces will be adjustable, with ring sizing starting at US 7.5.
This is a one-time fee, regardless of how many silver items are included. You're guaranteed at least two silver jewellery pieces, including a Howl’s Moving Castle–inspired ring (available in both versions — silver in Luxe, stainless steel in standard).

Where will the calendar ship from?
We’re currently arranging fulfillment from our US, UK, and Hong Kong warehouses to ensure faster, more efficient delivery around the world. Whenever possible, your order will ship from the warehouse closest to your location.
Please note: As final logistics are still being confirmed, there may be rare cases where we ship from a different warehouse than expected - but rest assured, your calendar will arrive safely.
What is the Luxe version of the calendar?
The Luxe version is an optional upgrade you can select at checkout. It includes:
- All Jewellery in your calendar being upgraded to 925 Silver
- Upgraded keepsake jewellery boxes for each piece
- A guaranteed minimum of 2 silver jewellery items, including Howl's Ring (with the possibility of more — all included in the fixed upgrade price)
While the full jewellery lineup is still being finalised, this one-time fee will cover every jewellery item included in your calendar.

What types of items can I expect to find?
This year’s calendar features a thoughtfully curated mix of practical items, decorative display pieces, wearable accessories, and exclusive jewellery—all inspired by the magical world of Studio Ghibli. Each day brings a unique surprise designed to be both beautiful and useful.

Will my calendar arrive on time before December 1st?
Yes! We completely understand how important it is to receive your advent calendar before December begins — especially after last year's unexpected delays. This year, we have started production much earlier and have made big changes behind the scenes to make sure all calendars are packed and shipped on time!
When is the expected delivery date?
We expect all advent calendars to arrive between the end of October and Early November. This gives plenty of time before December 1st.
Will there be duty fees?
If you're ordering from the UK or USA, good news — your order will ship domestically and you won’t incur any additional import fees, as we handle those on our end.
For all other countries, customs policies vary. While we can’t guarantee that your parcel will be duty-free, we do our best to minimise or eliminate these charges by declaring a lower value on the package whenever possible.
Rest assured, we’re committed to making your experience as smooth (and surprise-free) as possible.
What improvements have you made to quality and packaging?
We’re implementing much stricter quality control and upgraded protective packaging this year, especially for delicate items. Last year, about 2% of calendars arrived with a few items missing due to delays and rushed packing. We’ve taken those lessons to heart and made key improvements so you can rest assured your calendar will arrive just as magical as we intended.
Are these calendars for adults or kids?
We design our advent calendars primarily with adults in mind—focusing on high-quality, collectible, and practical items. However, many of the pieces (like plushies, stationery, and accessories) are also fun and safe for older children to enjoy.
