The Concept
The bookstore advent calendar was designed to transform unboxing into a story-driven experience. Each of the 24 drawers is styled as a book spine on a bookshelf, complete with its own unique title. These titles aren’t random, they’re playful clues that hint at the surprise waiting inside. As you open each “book,” you’re not just revealing an item, you’re turning the page to a new chapter in your advent adventure!
The details
Every piece in our Bookshop Advent Calendar is designed in-house with a deep love for detail and storytelling. For select illustrations, we’ve had the joy of collaborating with the incredibly talented Eve Anderson whose whimsical artwork has been reimagined into treasures and keepsakes throughout the collection.

From the order of each day to the way an item nestles perfectly into its drawer, to the texture and finish of the materials. Each choice is intentional, building a quiet sense of anticipation. From Day 1 to Day 24, the Bookshop Advent Calendar unfolds like a carefully choreographed story told through objects, each reveal bringing a moment of wonder and warmth.
And then there’s the secret finale: a roof compartment that opens to reveal a charming attic space. It’s the perfect hidden nook for a special surprise, adding an extra chapter to your countdown and ending the journey on a note of pure delight.

Where will the calendar ship from?
We’re currently arranging fulfillment from our US, UK, and Hong Kong warehouses to ensure faster, more efficient delivery around the world. Whenever possible, your order will ship from the warehouse closest to your location.
Please note: As final logistics are still being confirmed, there may be cases where we ship from a different warehouse than expected - but rest assured, your calendar will be shipped on time.
Will my calendar arrive on time before December 1st?
Yes! We completely understand how important it is to receive your advent calendar before December begins. This year, we have started production extra early and will make sure all calendars are packed and shipped on time!
When is the expected delivery date?
We expect all advent calendars to arrive between the end of October and Early November. This gives plenty of time before December 1st.
Are the items inside Christmas Themed?
No, we’ve designed this advent calendar so that the items can be enjoyed all year round. Every piece is practical, beautifully made, and not tied to a festive theme. Even the box itself is non-Christmas related, making it perfect for use long after the holiday season.
